0 Euro souvenir notes exist since 2015 and are issued as a lasting reminder of tourist and cultural locations, famous people or events. The tickets are sold on location through vending machines or through the museum shops. The souvenir notes contain similar security features as the regular euro notes. The 0 Euro souvenir notes contain watermarks, copper security strips, fluorescent invisible ink, an engraved hologram and each note contains a unique serial number.
For the Eurovision Song Contest 2021, the three notes are also available in the special ANNIVERSARY EDITION to commemorate the 2020 anniversary of the 0 Euro souvenir note.
